Kids Kicking Cancer helps little heroes across the New York City area deal with the stress and pain of their illness and treatments through martial arts and meditation. 

Now, we need your help.

Because of cutbacks in government grants, we’ve lost a major funding source. We need to raise $250,000 this year to continue the Kids Kicking Cancer program in eight New York City-area hospitals within the state of New York, and to expand to New Jersey and Connecticut hospitals.

Kids Kicking Cancer—Teaching the World, One Breath at a Time

Through the use of martial arts breathing, meditation, and imagery techniques, KKC helps children persevere through the pain of their illness and treatment. The children, many as young as three years old, are patients turned warriors, teaching the world—one breath at a time. They have shared the techniques they learn with adults, corporations, and other children, teaching them to control stress, pain, fear, and anger. Celebrities including Jessica Biel, Gerard Butler, and the Jonas brothers have praised their efforts and continue to help spread KKC’s mantra: Power, Peace, Purpose.
