Kids Kicking Cancer training and support amounts to less than $250 per child in New York City, which is less than most martial arts lessons and much less than the price of pain medications.
When a child, regardless of prognosis, knows he or she has a purpose in life, this is a priceless gift. Every dollar you donate goes toward giving these children and their loved ones this purpose, at times enabling them to heal beyond expectations.
Here’s what your donation and support means to our Kids Kicking Cancer:
- $2,500 supports a hospital program for one month
- $1,000 funds a large black belt (end-of-life) ceremony event
- $750 provides uniforms for a class of 50 students
- $500 gives two children a year of Kids Kicking Cancer classes
- $250 supports an afternoon of clinic interventions in one hospital
- $100 provides materials for a Little Heroes class (3-5 year olds)
- $50 allows for one session with a child in a bone marrow transplant unit
- $15-$20 provides one uniform
